GODS WORD FOR TODAY - Nov. 27 1 Timothy 4:14 (NLT) - Do not neglect the spiritual gift you received through the prophecy spoken over you when the elders of the church laid their hands on you. ------ - Christians can be quick to neglect or brush aside their spiritual gifts. In fact, it can easily happen when they are so much absorbed or engrossed with what goes on in their physical lives or affairs. What may have spiritually happened in the service that Sunday morning -- the strong presence of God, the prophetic word we receive, the impartation that is given, and others -- can be seen as just some fine Holy Ghost experiences that are good inside the church building only but not outside, not knowing though that something supernatural really did happen in the service. Spiritual gifts are released from Heaven. - Christians are not to consider their spiritual gifts as least priorities in their lives. In fact, their lives should center around their gifts, because these gifts will eventually be the motivating forces or factors behind every they do and say ---- yes, even outside the church building. They will give them success both in their spiritual and physical works. Thus, do not neglect your gifts. Allow yourself to grow in your gifts and your world will turn around for good.
