GODWINKS CONFIRM ... JUST WHEN YOU NEED IT ‘Recently my five year old DOG was diagnosed with CANCER. After several chemo treatments she was RESPONDING REMARKABLY WELL and going into remission. My neighbor and I happened to MEET at our MAILBOXES on a very cold and BLUSTERY DAY; the kind of day that the birds dont fly much. ‘How’s your dog doing?’ he asked over the fence, lined with barren lilac bushes. ‘Remarkable,’ I replied. ‘Im not sure if its the chemo or the PRAYERS’. ‘PRAYERS?’, HE ASKED. That very instant a SPARROW, from nowhere, flew down and perched on the bush between us, within arms reach, CHIRPING loudly like he wanted to join the conversation on a warm sunny day. My neighbor and I looked at each other in amazement and smiled. We both realized that this happy, CHEERFUL BIRD had appeared at the word ‘PRAYERS’ as if to CONFIRM my conclusion, and, that all was well.” Gayle Ruhnke •••• I think Gayle’s conclusion is right, don’t YOU? Even though she knew that prayers were very important in the healing of her dog, she was still a little uncertain. So, why wouldn’t God bring her a delightful message of ENCOURAGEMENT on the wings of a cheerful sparrow? Good wishes for godwinks. SQ
