GODs FOOTPRINTS October 26, 2012 at 1:01pm Did you see this morning sunrise ? Did you see it set last night ? Have you seen the striking wonder Of a shooting star in flight Have you seen the flower s of beauty With which our lands abound ? These all are merely footprints .... God s footprints all around Have you seen a baby smiling Or heard its laughter ring ? Have you felt soft rains from Heaven , And watched wild birds a wing ? Have you heard the forest whisper Or harked the ocean sound ? These , too, are merely footprints ..... Gods footprints all around When a hand in friendship s offered , When a smile comes your way , Or someone speaks a kind word In passing of the day ; When a tiny seed starts growing And pushes through the ground These are just a few more signs of Gods footprints all around .
