GOOD DOG! Took Shelby out for a walk early in the morning hoping to avoid all the things he has problems with. Beginning at the car we met the first dog, then another one 10 yards on, then a clump of walkers with fiver dogs ... at this point I was thinking Shoot me now and get it over with. I took out my trusted clicker, Shelbys breakfast was in the treat bag, and clicked up a storm. He worked like a pro. We met more dogs, joggers, nordic walkers, bicyles, a scooter and at the end for the crazy finale a stroller with a little yappy dog that was going bonkers. Well each encounter went better and better. Dogs were totally ignored at the end and even the stroller was looked at then he turned around to me, sat down and looked at me as if to say Lady, wheres my treat. I am beyond amazed what progress he made in that one walk. I wished several times for someone to take a video. Nobody will ever believe this. This was only our third walk ever. And remember on the first day him jumping growling into the leash at the sight of a dog across the field. This is so cool. I think he will turn into a simply fabulous dog! Ironically, when I took out Berry and Izzie right afterwards ... we did not meet a single soul. Go figure ...
