GOOD MORNING CHURCH!!!!!! GOOD MORNING PASTORS!!!! REMEMBER the Apostle Jude? REMEMBER the call to contend? Jud 1:3-6 3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. 4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. 5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. 6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. (KJV) Apostle Jude was a man of few words but deep in his declarations and exhortations to the Churches in all generations. I dare say he was beholding with clear eyes our generation that has witnessed and can now say we know that there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ and by their divisive roles, selfish promotions and cleverly designed strategies have rendered the gospel of Christ of no effect. He sent forth his words to this generation to earnestly contend for the faith once delievered unto the Saints. Look around today with a sincere heart and you will realize that there is so much reasons to contend for the faith. See Politicians, who knew nothing about the power of the gospel to bring men unto salvation, have taken over the pulpits. Magicians who had sourced for power from the powers of darkness are given central roles on platforms of evangelistic outreaches. Shady business men with their filthy gains from filthy deals are financing our building projects. But if the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do? Orators having their tongues secretly tutored, sharpened and released into the churhes to persuade and convert hopes of the Church that the Lord called the the very elect, are doing efficient job for their master the devil. They are been applauded here and there and we have honoured them by giving titles such as Bishops and Apostles. Their aclaimed skill is fund raising and not raising disciples. Their might and power skill is pushing people down not helping people to stand. Their upper room experience is different from that of Peter, who spoke once under the unction of the Holy Spirit and three thousands were converted to Christ. They even lay hands on people nowadays and send them out to eat grass like animals. They even persuade people to pay for the sterling benefits of falling down under the pushing-down-anointing. What has this got to do with the gospel of Christ? What has this got to do with wrestling people from the gate of hell? What has this got to do with persuading men and compelling them to come to the feast prepared by the Lamb of God. These ungodly men are saboteurs that do not want the unity of the Church because they will be exposed as outsiders. When we are united together around the true doctrines of Christ there will be no room for those who are not of Christ. So there will be less opportunities to make the church-goers twice children of hell. Remember the exhortation of Apostle Paul to the Church in Phillipi which says Only let your conversation (character and disposition) be as it becometh the gospel of Christ:that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel; Remember Martin Luther in contending for the faith at Rome said Here I stand, I cannot do otherwise. So help me God. What have you to say about the unity of the Churches under the CHURCH OF CHRIST AND AROUND HIS DOCTRINES? For the sake of Christ, be persuaded today and Join this Chariot!!!!!!!
