GOOD MORNING EVERYONE AND A HAPPY SUNDAY TO YOU ALL !!! Its very early in the morning right now. A little after 3AM. I hope your all having a pleasant sleep. Me not so much tonight. But eventually your all going to have to WAKE UP, WAKE UP AND WAKE UP TO A NEW WEEK !!! I want to use this Sundays post to plug the Merrillville fall Greek Fest which is this coming Friday and Saturday, October 17 and 18. Both days from noon to 8pm. Everything is indoors at the Merrillville Greek hall located at 8000 Madison in Merrillville. The hall is located just one block north of US 30 and Madison. Madison is the intersection where the Merrillville Meijer store and Walgreens are located. If you love lamb, we have delicious lamb shank dinners with huge shanks. Greek chicken dinners, pastichio dinners, Greek salad and those homemade sweets that you love during the summer Greek Fest. Complete family atmosphere. We will serve fish on Friday. Proceeds from the festival are not only used for general operations of the SS. CONSTANTINE AND HELEN GREEK ORTHODOX CATHEDRAL, but also for the Ross township food pantry located at our facility and for the churches Helping Hand fund used to help families with severe monetary issues through out our area. So this is a great way to have some fun, eat a great home cooked meal and support multiple good causes. For more information about the festival you can call the church office at 7692481. Having said all that, lets not forget Sunday is a church day and a great place to start your new week giving glory to God.
