GOOD MORNING GOOD MORNING one and all...get up out of them beds folks for its Saturday morning and its very cold outside this day so you know I am smiling from ear to eat cause I know this ding dang grass is going to die-out, hopefully. Now if we can get the wild onions sprayed and all unwanted weeds while the pretty grass is dormant we will have a pretty yard next spring. I have NO idea what I will talk about daily when the grass does die out for I will not be telling you all I am headed out to cut it>>>>smh....Oh well a person such as I am can always find nonsense to discuss. Believe it or not, I was such a shy person once upon a time, when I was a kid and in HS as well. I remember doing book reports in school and having to stand in front of the class, hold the book up, tell the title of it, who wrote it and a brief summary of what the book was like. I hated doing that, but I did, but my voice shook and my knees about gave out on me. GOD sure knew what HE was doing cause nowadays they would have to set a timer on me. As you all know, we have 4 kids. Well one of our sons, Lance, apparently has a photographic memory and every time he read a book, Lance could hardly wait to go to school to do his book report. Lance would rehearse the book report at home before giving it the next day. I would always write a short, kind note to his teacher and tell her that she might have to limit him to 5 minutes do he would quote the book word-by-word and be up there all day discussing his book. That son of mine, would tell the report with every if, and, and but that was in the book, he loved the Bernstein Bears and he read the entire series. They were his favorites. To show how siblings can be so very different, our oldest son, William, hated reading, and he would get his book from the library, bring it home to Wendy Jo, who is our daughter two years younger than William, have Wendy to read it and she wrote the report on the book, and he would copy it over in his handwriting and turn it in. Of coarse this is something Wayne and I did not know was going on, until one day I overheard Wendy Jo asking William did he want the Wendy Jo version or the Readers Digest version! He would asked her what type of book she wanted him to get and she would asked him, what was the grade he received on the report, finally we caught on to what was going on. Kids are a trip in this world, but without them I just cannot imagine what our lives would be like. I remember Lance once landed the lead part in several school plays. One was when he was at Bullucks school called shaping up Santa and he was Santa. He had to be able to pronounce huge, long words and he did so like a pro, but he delivered such an outstanding job that Mrs. Bulluck told Wayne and I afterwards that Lance has a little Ham in him! He also was the King in another school play and his then girlfriend was the Queen, it was totally cute. I am thankful we have them both on video for my little ham is now a grown up man with 4 little hams of his own. Time flies my friends, enjoy you little ones everyday for before you realize it, you will be me and your kids will be watching every keystroke you make and wondering what mama or daddy might do this day to embarrass you. Be kind, smile, laugh, help the needy, but an extra meal and give to a homeless person this day, hugs to you all.
