GOOD MORNING!!!!! I got my bowl of off brand Fruity Peebles going on. I am awake, but still in my jammies. Its another Saturday morning and Im watching some toons! But, todays topic is not about cartoons. The Saturday lineup over the years habe also contained some very imaginative live action shows. Sometimes they were just framework to the actual animated parts of the show or were the show itself. Either way, they had to be pretty creative to keep up with their out of this world counterparts. You cant do as much with live action as you can with animation, especially before the invention of CGI. But; creative costumes, stop motion animation, puppets, trick photography and simple special effects were enough to keep our young minds entertained. Last week, during the Superhero special, you may have noticed that I never mentioned Captain Marvel, Isis, or even Electra Woman and Dyna Girl. They were not cartoons! I was saving them for this week!!!! Lets begin with everyones favorite!
