GOOD MORNING!!! It is September and this hot weather should be cooling down soon. :-) Sorry people but I am not a summer person lol. So... accountability video! My hip is not doing great today (dont like humidity) ALTHOUGH not working out would have been so much worse for me. People with arthritis think if they are sore they should rest. NO no no... get up and move around, get the muscles working. You will see with one of my moves I had to modify it and go a little slower, to get back up I needed to use my hands... thats fine. Exercise can help you improve your health and fitness without hurting your joints. Some positives: •Strengthen the muscles around your joints •Help you maintain bone strength •Give you more strength and energy to get through the day You might think exercise will aggravate your joint pain and stiffness, thats not the case. Lack of exercise actually can make your joints even more painful and stiff. Thats because keeping your muscles and surrounding tissue strong is crucial to maintaining support for your bones. Not exercising weakens those supporting muscles, creating more stress on your joints. I am not talking about High impact exercises, I am talking about low impact, strength training, cardio and many others. Ok... that is my rant for this morning, thank you for reading... I am WIRED WITH ENERGY right now so...... watch out world :-)
