GOOD MORNING JACKSON ..Wednesday...70 degrees..here..on..the RIDGE...Walked down the RIDGE..to the Cemetery where my Friend was Burief..yesterday..Breathed some..Fresh Mountain Air while..I Walked..home in contemplation..about the loss of a neighbor and Friend and wondering..Which of us will be next?...I talked and Prayed to..GOD our..CREATOR..and..JESUS..our..SAVIOR..came in and Sat my..DEACON BENCH..and thought..about our Honey Festival starting in a few days and how good a time we will all have..with many things to do..from touring our..Breathitt County..Museum..guided by..Janie Griffith..its curator...to the great Gospel Singing held on the streets..of Jackson..yes it will be a few days we can put away our problems and relish in having a Good old fashion time. Seeing..friends and neighbors..and listening to music provided ..by local Muscians..Booths of healthy..home grown Honey to nurture your body..Looking forward to it..I know some folks leave town to avoid the commotion..but Shame on them..this is our little celebration of our history..appreciation that we live in such a beautiful place..Jackson..we have a couple of new restaurants..Millers..as you come into town..And..Kelseys..place..located downtown..So no excuse to be hungry and..the new addition to our Park of a kind of water world for the Kids..and covered shelters where families can gather out of the sun or rain whatever the case may be..There will be Quilts and home grown produce..books to buy..about our County..telling the History of how our county became what it is..I will miss the Coal Truck Parade.,and the school kids marching through town..and the old cars proudly driving around to show us what true and beautiful vehicles there used to be..So dont avoid the celebration..get into it..and have some fun..for a few days..I guess my diet will be on hold while I fill up on the delicious..foods..like a Hoagie from Variety Pizza..or..White Flash Hamburgers and a Peanut Butter Milkshake..maybe get a quilt to add and to my collection for the Cold winter coming..I wish I had some talent or a Book to display..but I will just have to keep doing my job of spreading GODS LOVE..to anyone who will receive it..and hope folks remember..That this is one of GODS rewards..for this year of hard work..,,,,SO..GET..up..and..THANK..GOD..and..JESUS..for another day of Life..Talk and Pray to them for..GUIDANCE..and..Meditate some..to hear through your..SOUL..Or..SPIRIT..the Blessings they have bestowed upon us..Be Nice..and..Positive..Do..SOMETHING NICE..for..SOMEONE ELSE..Enjoy and have a HAPPY..DAY..and may GOD..and..JESUS BLESS..US..ALL..Remembef..its..Clydes Day..HUMP DAY..So will TALK LATER.....LOVE JERRY..
