GOOD MORNING, PRAYER WARRIORS, FAMILY AND FRIENDS, This morning - TopicsExpress

GOOD MORNING, PRAYER WARRIORS, FAMILY AND FRIENDS, This morning when I For me, that is just a big waste of time. I can say Im going to do this or that or something else and about 2 weeks into it, thats it. But today, God gave me a thought that is different. I used to rededicate my life to Christ each and every new day. When you look at changes that you want to make over an entire year, that can be an overwhelming thing. BUT, if you try to take it a day at a time, it works so much better. For instance: I used to always start each new day with prayer and Bible reading. Start your day with the Lord and take Him with you everywhere you go. Share things with Him all day long. You will find that your close relationship will grow and it fills you with a peace like nothing else. Make a prayer list to help you keep up with those things that you need to pray about. Your prayer time will come to be the practice that will give you the greatest HOPE and JOY. Start slowly and dont push your Devotional Time to be a burden to you by trying to make it too long. Start with 15 minutes or so. The time will grow on its own. Pick a scripture that covers what you want to do and what you want to accomplish EACH NEW DAY in your walk with Christ and memorize it. Pray it over yourself everyday, or even several times a day. When the year is finished, you will see how much God has blessed you. Here are the scriptures I use everyday before my devotional time begins. You may want to use them for yourself until you find the ones God wants for YOU: Colossians 4, verses 16 - 17: Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word of deed or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father by him. Then, in the same Book and Chapter, and in verses 23 & 24: And whatsoever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. Below is a beautiful sermon from Brother Bob Pearle, who is our Pastor, from our church, Birchman Baptist Church. God has been speaking to me about how to get Him back into His rightful place in my life. This sermon is so wonderful and such a blessing. Please take time to listen to it. It is 35 minutes long and the name of it is: A GLORIOUS BRANCH. PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS AND BE BLESSED. birchman.org/sermons/player/a-glorious-branch I HOPE THAT YOU ALL HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY IN THE LORD. READ HIS WORD AND LISTEN TO THIS SERMON! IT IS A GREAT WAY TO START YOUR NEW WALK IN THE LORD IN THIS NEW YEAR OF 2015. GOD BLESS YOU ALL TODAY AND PLEASE DONT FORGET TO PRAISE THE LORD.
