GOOD MORNING on this wonderful day after Christmas! It was such a wonderful holiday but Im glad to put it behind us and move forward toward a new year. New year, new beginnings! Woke up in a sweat this morning only to find that The Dave had been monkeying with the thermostat. Bless his heart. But I thought of a quick fix. I turned on the air conditioner just long enough for it to cool things down to an acceptable temp for my delicate internal thermometer. When it reached 68, I then flipped it back over to heat and set the temperature to 68. Perfect. Household chores await. I am going to get busy but first I must ponder my fragrance choices. I still have half a bottle of The Smell of Christmas but Christmas is over. Do I dare go ahead and use or save it for next year? My notoriously needy nostricals seem to be craving something less spicy today. Maybe Gain or Plumeria or Moonlight Path. Second dilemma is Christmas decorations. When its all over, I care nothing about looking at them. However, I am just not in the mood today. Momma always said that it was perfectly acceptable to leave them up until New Years Day; however, not one minute past that. I think Ill procrastinate on that. Surely I can find something more fun than that to do. Dave has gone to meet with a client. The dogs are resting comfortably and Bird is unusually quiet. I feel restless, yet I dont know what I want to do. Im sure Ill figure it out. Have a happy, healthy and productive day! Smile and be friendly to everyone! Spread love and joy wherever you go!
