GOOD NEWS! Katy & Maxx, the patio dogs (yellow lab and yorkie), are BOTH heartworm negative!!! I NEVER would have guessed! BAD NEWS.... Tahoe (senior yellow male bad HW disease) is still positive after his 6 months of slow kill. It doesnt surprise us, but we will probably go ahead and try fast kill now that hes feeling better. It will still be hard, but weve got to get the worms out. Did you know they can possibly live 5-7 years????? Thats why slow kill isnt always a great option... But he was far too debilitated to try fast kill when we first got him.
