GOOEY BUTTER COOKIES 2 boxes yellow cake mix 1 tsp. vanilla 1tsp almond flavoring Two (8 oz pkgs) cream cheese, softened 2 sticks butter (use real butter), softened 2 eggs Powdered sugar to roll cookies in. Combine first 5 ingredients with a mixer until well blended. Chill the dough. Make sure you chill it really well, its a sticky dough. Roll into small balls. Roll in powdered sugar. Bake at 350 degrees on ungreased cookie sheets for 10-12 minutes. Store in a cool place, or refrigerate. This is a double batch. I also shake powdered sugar over them when they cool off a bit.
