🎉🎉🎉GOOOOOAAAALLLL!!!!!( pretend thats in the soccer guys voice!!) LOL. I am extremely excited to tell you guys I have reached my main goal with Plexus!!❤️ I have officially been off Prednisone aka steroids for 1 week now! 🙏😀I had been on steroids for 3 1/2 years, my highest dose was 15 mg. at first that did help control some of the inflammation from my RA but it packed on the pounds!! At my heaviest I weighed 198!!! 😁That was just one of the side effects from taking that poison for an extended time, the side effects are almost as bad as the disease it helps with! The doctors told me I had to reduce the amount of steroids I was taking! The thing with prednisone is you have to decrease very slowly or it will make you incredibly sick so I started dropping 1 mg every 6 weeks. I got down to 10mg and could go no lower without having extreme RA flares! The next step was to try biologics that even with insurance would cost $700 a month! That was not an option for a single mother of three getting no support from my ex!! So with $400 in the bank I spent $300 of it and became a Plexus Ambassador( because it was the cheapest way to buy it)! Following the same plan of dropping 1 mg every 6 weeks, I am now off of my steroids and my rheumatologist says I am doing amazing!! If she didnt already know I had RA she wouldnt know I had it!! It did not happen over night, it took 14 months but compared to the 8 years I was so sick with RA it is pretty fast!! ❤️ I have lost 45bs Total!!! I have gotten off of nearly all prescriptions. Including antidepressants, anxiety pills, sleeping pills and of course steroids!! And I am also making real money that has helped me support my kids!!
