GOSPEL MUSIC DISTRIBUTION IN NIGERIA Shalom Saints, I think we need a better organised structure or system of distributing, marketing or selling gospel cds in Nigeria besides the ALABA MODEL we have today. First, the quality of the cds and the way they are packaged need to change. The excuse is that most Nigerians cant afford quality cds. But this is not the whole truth. I think most Nigerians would even prefer better quality and packaged cds. Ive had people complain that theyve had to buy my cds multiple times because a lot of those cds dont even play. And when they do, they crack, skip or show error messages after a few plays. In the long run, buying a good one that costs between 500-1000 seems better than buying fakes for 150 or 200 about 6-10times. Also, because of what God is set to do with Nigerian music ministers in this end time, we cannot take those cds onto the global stage. There is no excellence in such. And remember its unto the Lord. Secondly, these cds have to be available for everyone in Nigeria for purchase, besides the traffic-styled sale model we have now. So if you are out there and thinking along this lines, and have the passion, will and skill to do something new in this regard, lets talk. And this is because I know a number of gospel album projects in progress, soon to be released and have to be well and properly distributed. The songs are great, anointed; well produced and recorded. And who knows, this might become a good business venture for someone out there. But beyond the business opportunity, its time to fill our land with the sound of heaven, as we prepare for the end time revival! Abi nor be so?
