GOT MILK? 6 months back I used to eat 1-2 PB&J sandwiches almost every night! For the past 6 months I havent any sandwiches. Now a days I just put a nice big spoonful in my protein shakes along with a 1/2 a banana and a few strawberries. Depending on my day I have between 2&4 shakes a day as a meal replacement. Last night.... I decide to make one of my beloved sandwiches, a choke sandwich! Thick, creamy, smoothe, Richness! And Then! I had a REVELATION! I read the calorie content on the jar and it reads that 2 table spoons contain about 200 calories! I start to quickly try and figure out how many calories of the goodness that I eat, and at first I couldnt, so I grab the jar of goodness to see how many servings it has, it reads 31! So I grab my trusty Smart Phone, pull up the calculator and punch in the numbers, are you ready? 6,000 cals ! Thats right 6,000! Here let me spell it out for you, just in case you didnt see it, SIXTHOUSANDCALORIES!!! Now since I started my quest 6months back I have eaten 1 jar a week thats right 1 jar a week! 6,000 calories of peanut butter a week and not one damn sandwich! Now totally disgusted with myself, I go to my recliner to eat that sandwich that I made and let me tell you it was delicious! As I sat there eating and chasing it down with ice cold milk, I was thinking, I still lost over 80lbs in the past 6 months, lab work has comeback with astonishing changes, Im no longer a diabetic! What more can I ask for right ? The last month I have lost nothing! I started training hard, so maybe thats I have not lost anything, last week to break the plateau, I fasted every other day only eating my 3-4 100 calorie shakes. I LOST NOTHING, Although I was disgusted when I read the back of that jar I was sort of glad I read it, because starting today, NO MO PEANUT BUTTER! I just cut 6,000 unneeded calories from my diet this week in the blink of an eye! Will a week without the creamy goodness break this plateau? I dont know, but minus all those calories, well well see. I let you know. Anyway HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE! Love you all, thanks for listening, The Warrriors Life!!!
