GOVERNMENT OF MANIPUR OFFICE OF THE DEPUTY COMMISSIONER: CHURACHANDPUR NOTIFICATION Churachandpur, the 13th Sept.2013 No. 6/90/2013-CAF & PD (CCP): The National Food Security Ordinance 2013 envisages to provide food grains at subsidized rate to the eligible households of the State. The eligible households have been classified as (1) Antyodaya Anna Yojana household and (II) Priority Household. Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) households under the AAY Scheme launched by the Central Government on 25th December, 2000 shall be entitled to receive 35 Kgs. Of foodgrains per month at subsidized rates i,e, rice @ Rs 3/-, Wheat @ Rs. 2/- per Kg and coarse grains @ Rs. 1/- per Kg and each member of Priority Household shall be entitled to received 5 Kgs of foodgrains at these rates. This will be implemented under the Targeted Public Distribution System(TPDS). Therefore, in pursuance of section 10 of National Food Security Ordinance 2013, the following guidelines for identification of the eligible households is hereby notified : INCLUSION CRITERIA : The households having annual income of less than Rs. 1 lakh and fulfilling criteria will be considered as eligible households for inclusion in the AAY and Priority category as the case may be : * Households with disabled person (as defined in Persons with Disabilities Act 1995) subject to submission of prescribed medical certificate. * Single women (including widows, unmarried and separated and deserted women), living in household as dependant or as head of household. * Children living without protection. * Person living with HIV. * Occupationally vulnerable groups like unskilled construction workers, casual daily wages labour, casual domestic workers, cycle rickshaw drivers, unskilled workers in small households enterprises, unskilled workers in household in dustries. * Any other households having annual income income of less than Rs. 1 Lakh per annum. EXCLUSION CRITERIA : Notwithstanding their fulfilling the inclusion criteria, the following households will not be eligible : * If any member of a household owns a light (Four wheeler) or heavy vehicle. * If the household is receiving ration/food subsidy under any other scheme * If any member of the household is income tax payee * Any Government employee having more than 1lakh p.a. income MODE OF APPLICATION : The eldest female will be treated as Head of household. Applicants will be assisted in filling up the forms in the office of concerned BDOs. The application should be submitted in the prescribe format by the head of household enclosing the following documents: * Residence proof of the applicant. * Income Certificate issued by the SDO Office * Ration card (if the applicant or any member of the household has ration card of any type). * An undertaking by the applicant duly attested by the Executive Magistrate in the prescribe format that the applicant does not fall under any of the exclusion categories. * The forms can be collected from the concerned BDO Office * The last date of receiving applications is 25th September, 2013.
