GOVERNMENT WILL CONTINUE TO TAKE HONEST AND CREDIBLE STEPS TO COMBAT EBOLA. SIERRA LEONE FINANCE MINISTER SAYS. The Ebola virus is in an act of mutilation that is trashing our global identity. As the threat continue to grow and spread it tentacles allover Sierra Leone, the Government is wakening to the threat. The never stop working Hon. Minister of Finance, Dr. Kaifala Marah who is recognize by merit for his share will and persistence to help President Koroma move Sierra Leone forward in a number of tangible ways continue to play a central and important role to combat the deadly Ebola virus. It will be recall that since The Hon. Minister of Finance joined the Government of President Koroma he never stops firing positively on both cylinders. His selflessness, decency and burning desire to partner efficiently with President Koroma to positively put Sierra Leone in the global map continue to earn him lot of respect from all quarters. Last Saturday, he was out and about on a mission to monitor Ebola treatment facilities within the Western Area where I managed to caught up with him and got the following words of assurance: Common sense needed to break out from all Sierra Leoneans in the fight against Ebola. The true determination within the Government of President Koroma to get Ebola combated within the country is very positive and up bit. Our President is seriously concern and he knows the nation is currently undergoing excruciating pain. And hes doing all he can to bring bring back happiness to our people. The President believe that the fear of pain is actually much greater than the fear of death. Its actually much painful for any responsible Leader to see your people dying out of any brutal virus. So President Koroma always put himself and the rest of his Government members in the thick of situation to drum up support Or collaboration from various sectors around the globe and help tackle the epidemic efficiently. This sounds enormously stressful particularly at a time like this when the world is facing financial crisis and the world great leaders are busy concentrating their efforts in the terrorist threat pose by Islamic State in Iraq and the rest of the world. But we manage to cope with the stress by living at least for the moment with the help we continue to get. Now, whether we will succeed in our goal to combat Ebola as quickly as we want it to be, am in no situation to comment, but we have sincerely commit ourselves to it. We have the strong conviction that even in times of darkness GOD will setup the light; and we do believe that Ebola will soon end in Sierra Leone. All we are calling for is for fellow Sierra Leoneans to think the bigger picture and be wise in combating Ebola.
