GOVERNOR YERO APPROVES N3bn FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS Governor Mukhtar Ramalan Yero has approved the release of N3 billion (three billion naira) for payment to contractors handling various capital projects across the state. Part of the projects that have received funding are massive roads construction and rehabilitation. Other capital projects are the various rural development projects under Constituency Projects that include Solar Boreholes and Primary Health Centres. These are located in various communities across the 23 LGAs of the state. The Governor has also approved funds for rehabilitation of several primary and secondary schools across the state as part of the commitment of the present administration to improve the standards of education and conducive teaching and learning environment.
