GRACE 4 TODAY Topic:- The word does And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. Lk5:5. Peter was a professional fisherman,who has all it takes to fish at anytime,but this time around he worked and caught nothing,he tried but no result. As he was washing his nets for catching nothing,Jesus showed up and asked him to lunch into the deep for a drought. Peter told Jesus how long he has been toiling without anything to show for it,but he said nevertheless at his word he will lunch his net,this he did and got himself surprised. In a twinkling of an eye,what his skill,power,strength,connection,fame,money,cannot do,the word of Jesus did it in his life. On what have you been laboured so much?what is that thing that has taken much of your strength,and yet nothing is forthcoming? The solution is in the word of God. Book of Hebrew says by faith we know that the world was framed by the word of God and all that is in it. If the world is made by the word,it means the world answers to the world. Your world also cannot but also answer to the word of Jesus,so far you can 1. Acknowledge the word for your life. 2. Submit to his Lordship over you 3. Obey the word 4. Do the word. After Peter has did what Christ asked of him,he moved into his era of testimony. So will it be for you as you follow the word of God. The word does what man cannot do. The word of Jesus will move you to higher level IJN,I love U.
