GRACE ABOUNDS IN THE MIDST OF RIGHTEOUSNESS; AND NOT IN THE MIDST - TopicsExpress

GRACE ABOUNDS IN THE MIDST OF RIGHTEOUSNESS; AND NOT IN THE MIDST OF SIN. (Part 2). Grace Is Not Be Sinning; And Be Receiving Pardoning From God! Grace is not the permission to continue in sin, and receiving pardoning from God - that is not grace. Grace is the showing of an undeserved favor by God to HIS children, in order to grant them the equipment they will need to become righteous. Grace is an expression of Gods kindness and love for HIS children; where HE does not need payment from HIS children to offer them HIS goodness. Therefore grace comes to bring us the materials we need to walk in righteousness and not into living in sin; but by Gods grace we receive the assistance and the help to walk the paths of righteousness. God does not show us favor to draw us into sin; but when we were sinners Christ died for us by Gods grace (Romans 5:8); and not by anything we have done for God. [8] But God shows his love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). Grace is an expression of Gods Everlasting Love for HIS children (Jeremiah 31:3): [3] The LORD appeared to him from afar. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you (Jeremiah 31:3). Therefore, God performs all these great and wonderful tasks for humanity out of HIS own love for mankind and not because they did something for God. This is grace: The expression of Gods love through the granting of undeserved favors to HIS children; in order for them to receive the materials and the help that will enable them to walk in HIS righteousness, so that they will eternally abide in HIS goodness. Therefore, by grace God made man in HIS own image; not because man paid God for such a thing. By grace Christ Jesus died for our sins; not because man paid God; for HIM to sacrifice HIS own Son. By grace we receive the Holy Spirit, not because we paid God, or did something to merit our receiving of the Spirit. By the expression of HIS everlasting love for humanity, we receive all these tools of righteousness to help us become righteous and dwell in HIS presence; and not because, we have paid HIM or done something for HIM. I reiterate, grace does not bring us the materials to help us commit sin; but grace brings Gods tools of righteouness that help us to live righteous lives. When God shows a favor unto us; it is not to give us the permission to sin in order to receive the pardoning of God. Grace gives us the ability to overcome sin and lead righteous lives. The graces of God provide the children of God with the ability and the help to walk the paths of righteousness; and not to walk the paths of sin in order to receive a pardoning from God. God shows us HIS grace in that HE did all of these for us at no cost or payment from us - this is grace: An undeserved favor. Now a righteousness from God is revealed; a righteousness that is by faith in Christ Jesus, from first to last: Meaning: when we believe and trust in Jesus and make HIM our LORD and Savior; we receive forgiveness of sins and receive the righteousness of HIM. This imparted righteousness from Jesus enables us to enter into Gods Kingdom and also receive the Holy Spirit; who leads us into all truth. All of these are given us at no cost; but by Gods everlasting love for us, expressed through these undeserved favors called grace. The Holy Spirit empowers us to walk the paths of righteousness. Now, we know that grace is an expression of Gods everlasting love to HIS children; and since during the times of Gods favor or grace, we receive the enablement to become righteous; we can also think of grace as a spiritual empowerment or gift. Grace brought us into being righteous; and continues to empower us to remain righteous. Therefore, grace is Gods enablement from the Holy Spirit, which enables us to maintain the righteousness we received from Christ Jesus. The Holy Spirit using the Apostle Paul as our example writes: [3] For by the grace given to me I bid every one among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith which God has assigned him (Romans 12:3). If we fail to walk step-in-step with the Holy Spirit and we err; we should repent immediately. When we sin we immediately repent of our sins and continue to walk in the steps of the Holy Spirit. We are a new creation; and this creation is dead to sin: [1] What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? [2] By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it (Romans 6:1-2)?
