GRACE. V And hope does not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us. ( Romans 5:5 ) Grace is not based on any goodness of you; it is totally based on Gods love. It’s not based on how big you are or how small you are, it is totally based on Gods love. The Word of God says He loved you even when you were a sinner or even before you were born again. Now that you have made Jesus the Lord of you life the Bible says in Romans 5:5 God has poured His through the Holy Spirit, He loves us so much, He loves us with the same love which He loved His son Jesus. Now that you know that He loves you so much his goodness is not in our life based on our performance but based on His love. You can always praise God because His love for you doesn’t fluctuate on your performance. We can praise because He has poured his love and accomplished everything for us, we have every reason to thank Him. That’s where the grace of God multiplies, and begins to flow in our life, so there is no room for depression when you understand God loves you.In the Bible there is a man named Saul in the New Testament, a learned man, a Pharisee. He was having a great desire for Gods kingdom; He had a great zeal for the kingdom of God. When he learned that the Jews where getting converted and becoming Christians, he would go and persecute the church because of him so many people where killed. Many people lost their lives because of this man Saul; this man had a permission to persecute the Church and was on his way to Damascus. On the way he encounters Jesus, the risen Lord. Now if Jesus sees this man and because of him man hundreds and thousands of peoples lives has been killed, what should God do to this man? God didn’t kill him, God provided grace to Saul and he offered the same grace. When he encountered Jesus he became blind, he was blind for three days. Within those three days Saul began to develop a relationship with God, he wanted to know more and more of Jesus. So the grace that was given to him he began to labor in that grace, his attention was not on the healing, his attention was on the healer.God spoke to another man called Ananias and told him to go to Sauls house. Ananias didn’t want to go to Saul’s house because he though Saul would kill him. Jesus told Ananias he is one of us, so he came to Saul’s house. When he entered the house and laid his hands on Saul. In acts 9 Ananias did say God fill him with the Holy Spirit, he didn’t say heal his eyes. Ananias said receive sight in the name of Jesus.
