GRADE I B - Class Assembly Festivals are time to celebrate. It brings in cheer and joy. It transforms the usual boredom and monotony and leads us to a mood of exuberance. Pongal is a harvest festival. It is celebrated for four days. Children took the audience through the festivities of the entire four days –BHOGI,THAIPONGAL, MAATTU PONGAL, KAANUM PONGAL. It culminated with a KUMMI ATTAM performed by the women folk in a circle.
