► GRADUATE ELECTRICAL ENGINEER Newcrest Mining operates the world class Lihir gold mine located on the tropical island of Lihir and provides residents with a peaceful and secure lifestyle. Fly-in, Fly-out residents are accommodated in well-appointed camps which includes full dining, laundry, and a modern medical centre. We are currently seeking suitably qualified and highly motivated candidates for the role of Graduate Electrical Engineer. Reporting to Senior Electrical Engineer, the successful person will support the Senior Electrical Engineer to achieve improve safety and reliability of equipment. This includes direct technical output of work appropriate to the role, developing technical knowledge, establishing and monitoring technical systems and managing relationships with external/internal stakeholders. Key elements of the roles include: • Electrical Documentation Management and Design Drafting • Automation System Operation, Fault Finding and Upgrades • Power System Monitoring and Analysis • Electrical Project Management • Electrical System Monitoring and Maintenance Planning • Electrical Project Management • Operational Electrician Personnel support The successful candidates will have: • Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering • Experience with MS Excel, MS Project and or SAP is desirable • Demonstrated leadership skills, initiative and drive to effectively work in a team, in a technically challenging maintenance environment. • Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills in English.
