GRAND TOTAL....hospital charges only...not including radiology, labs, physician fees, anesthisia, pathology, etc... **sorry this is a lil long but not too much. Just wanted to share this with yall** Im sending this letter to OBAMA!!. Dear Mr Obama, Recently, you have said that its time to make Americans pay their own way. You have decided to cut the foodstamp program nation wide starting in March. But I have a huge problem...you see, my girlfriend of almost 13 years and my sole provider (cant call her my wife bc its not recognized in this state) has worked all her life since she was 16...she has only been out of a job in total twice for health problems with the exception of moving. Shes paid her taxes, shes paid her dues, and shes worked very hard paying into her own benefits with comfort in knowing that someday, should she need too, she can recieve help, and get back what shes paid into all these years. Shes not lazy, nor is she a slacker and only twice during her medical down time did she apply for assistance. Unfortunately she was not able to qualify for OBAMACARE because she had a job that provided her medical insurance. Well it was more like a discount program...she fell ill and was diagnosed a tumor on her uterous which led to a partial hysterectomy. She has one more surgery ahead of her. She left her job on FMLA and still three months after surgery shes unable to get released back to work. She has since lost her minimal health coverage and is now having problems getting in to see her doctors because she owes medical bills. They have put a price over her head and will only act according to their oath if she pays in full her medical bills. Now on top of that, her disability claim may be rejected as it is her first time ever applying. We all know first timers have to beg for their benefits for months up to years to get exactly what they paid for all the years spent working. She applied for OBAMACARE after she lost her benefits but still did not qualify because shes made too much money. They did offer her affordable disounted insurance at 195.00 a month. Without a job, thats nowhere near affordable. So now since shes not insured, she subject to your uninsured penalty and will have to pay a fine. Again, no job, no money. How is she supposed to pay her fine? So now she has 70 grand in medical bills and a fine to look forward to paying with no type of income. Since the disibility system is flawed it will be awhile before any payments to anyone go out. Her govermental assistance is now up for termination because too many people have taken advantage. So the program will be cut all together. So now ON TOP OF the medical bills and fines, she will now lose her food. With all that being said, we still havent factored in her prescriptions, gas to and from appointments, utilities, rent, and other basic living exspenses. 20 hours a week for work while trying to fight for disability wont even come close to what she puts out for monthly bills. However any money is great money and she will go back to work twenty hours a week upon being released from medical care. We dont know when that will be. So there will be times (as they are right now) that we will be in disconnect status with our bills and late payments as well. The winter is upon us and I dread thinking about they day they will turn us off. Sure we have both been blessed by our families steppin up and helping us in very big ways by helping us pay our bills with what they can, BUT we cannot continue to go to our famlies because they have done without to make sure that we dont go without or loose anything or find ourselves homeless. Its a shame that my girlfriend cannot be helped by YOU, THE GOVERNMENT. Being homless and hungry is now a huge possibility. Thats the future for my hard working tax paying responsible girlfriend and myself. How could u have done this to her!? To those honest people just like her!!?? You are cutting off the ability to survive everyday life for those people who really truly need just a helping hand who wont be dishonest when asking for help and intend on getting back to their normal quality of life as soon as they can. You sir are setting yourself up for a huge crisis right there in your own backyard. Well, not YOUR backyard, but the PEOPLES backyard (we paid for it) People will fight to survive at all costs. Lie,cheat,beg and steal, all those things will happen in the form of riots if you cut off the desprately needed food supply. There will be hate and anger as people are starving and trying to find a way to feed their children and themselves. I for one may just be right along with them and ransack any place I come across that still has food. I WILL protect my family and myself AT ALL COSTS!!!...Im glad we still have a constitutional right to bear arms but regardless if we are given that right or not, I would still pack heat. I dont think I would care what the law is I WILL carry. You willl have turned us all into hungry heethens. Only the rich and educated who have lots of money will be able to survive. That is if looters hadnt gotton to them. Mr. Obama, since you have tied our hands and our basic survival needs, please see that I am sending you my girlfriends medical bills. You can have them and you can pay for them. I suggest you cut back on your luxurious vacations, STOP using Airforce one as your personal limo, stop spending Americas money on issues that dont need to involve our money. Finally, please tell your congressmen, or representatives, or anyone else who has access to government funds, to PLEASE STOP spending money on 700$ steak dinners for six to eight people. Perhaps they can take a few paycuts as it really makes no sense to pay them that kind of money to sit in a huge circle and say yay or nay. Or better yet, maybe you can stop accepting illegals in our country and stop paying OUR hard earned benefit money to them because they happened to make it to America with nothing and nowhere to go. The get paid faster and better because they are immigrants. No wonder why they believe that America is the land of opportunity. Well technically it is, for those who work and earn it like my girlfriend does. So in closing, she/ we wont be getting insurance, she/we wont be paying your fines, she/we will continue to fight for what we are entitled too and we will stop at absolutely nothing to feed our familys. To me, you are that bad guy in those end of the world apocalyptic movies I have seen and I pray for you very hard sir, that you dont end up being the anti-christ. You are single handedly ruining America. Please let me know when we can expect to see a check...Thank you for your attention to this matter.
