GRANGEVILLE, ID - A 62-year-old Kooskia man who was found guilty of aggravated battery for beating another man with an aluminum baseball bat nearly a year ago was given a withheld judgment yesterday. Thomas Hendren was found guilty in May by an in Idaho County Second District Court jury for the August 18, 2012 altercation with a 57-year-old man in Kooskia. The victim suffered a traumatic head injury and severe bruising throughout his body. Hendren was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 90 days discretionary jail time, and $1,240.50 in fines and fees. He will serve the time on probation if he follows terms of his probation.
