GREAT NEWS! The WORST is yet to come! Thats right! For all of you Best Life Now and the Best is yet to Come folk, I just got the updated memo. What? Does that really bother you? Come on, get into reality! Ask the Syrian Christians about Gods will to prosper them as they are being raped and sold as spoils of war! Tell them, Your best is yet to come! Be happy! Now with that reality check in mind, I guess our day cant be all that bad, can it? So be nice to people today. Go the extra mile. Be UN-selfish. Ask your spouse, your kids, your parents, What can I help you with today? If youre a Christian, then, YES, your best is yet to come, ultimately (if you endure to the end as Scripture says), but regardless of your current situation, greet everything that comes your way with peace and patience, empowered by the Holy Spirit. 1 Peter 4:7 The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. FINALLY, I understand what my friends are doing who say, The Best is yet to come, etc., etc. They are trying to encourage us to have faith and keep pressing on. Ultimately, we must have a vision within ourselves that the best is coming, is come, has come… and that is Christ in me, the HOPE of glory. So when things are at their WORST, we are at our BEST when Christ is not just a religion, but a reality. Its shake and bake time and we can rise to the challenge! Peace be with you!
