GREAT NEWS!! We have been given the option as of late last night by the league to play 8-man football this year to keep things going. Sadly for me, I had already accepted other work-related opportunities yesterday afternoon and will not be able to continue as head coach, though I will be remaining with the SAW Youth Football board and helping out as much with the team as time and finances permit. Please do indicate here or by email if you would like to play 8-man and begin practices for that as soon as we can get the insurance questions answered by the league. WE MUST HAVE AT LEAST 10 GUYS COMMIT TO CONTINUING TO PLAY SO PLEASE GET BACK TO US ASAP. Coach Randy Challoux will be taking over as HC for the year, assisted by Coach Bond. There may be the formality remaining of the league accepting Coach Challoux as HC but I doubt that will become anything more than a formality. Thanks to Joe, Jed and others for suggesting this possibility and to Commissioner Dalgo for also suggesting it. GO RENEGADES!!
