GREAT visits with dad today. I got to stay an hour one time and 2 hours the last visit. He was so alert today. even his nurse made a comment about how alert he has been. It is so nice to be here with him. he went to sleep and when he opened his eyes I was right there and he kinda jumped and I said did I scare you and he nodded his head yes. I was like sorry I just like being here close to you and he closed his eyes and opened them again. His nurse said I think we made him mad while you were gone we cleaned him up real good and I said I thought you smelled better and he laughed!!!Still dont have a time for the trach tomorrow they are also hopefully going to put in a peg tube for feedings while they have him in surgery. Its been a wonderful day!!!! :) :) :)
