GREATER AND BETTER As the Queen of Sheba came so far to witness King Solomons wisdom so let us do the same for we have a greater than Solomon in Jesus. As the people of Nineveh repented under the preaching of Jonah so let us do the same for we have a greater than Jonah in Jesus. In fact, let our desire be greater than Shebas and let our repentance be greater than the Ninevites for our Jesus is greater than the thing that motivated them. The half was not told Sheba of Solomon and the tenth has not been told us of Jesus. In Nineveh, Jonah was there by force but our Jesus came willingly; should not our desire exceed theirs? We should do better because better has been done for us. Our Lord spoke of these things in Luke 11:29-32 so we ought to take heed. A better Jonah and a better Solomon deserves the best and even that falls short of what he deserves. With him, we have a better high priest, a better covenant, better promises, a better substance and we are going to a better country. Cant get any better or greater than that.
