GREATER LOVE HAS NO ONE THAN THIS... The Christian life is meant to be progressive, not static. Christ Jesus expects every Christian to be productive in FRUIT BEARING. Fruit bearing can only be possible through total submission to Gods word and by means of the Holyspirit. The bench-mark of true Christianity lies in fruit bearing. There are three stages in this process: (1) BEARING FRUIT (2) MUCH FRUIT (3) GREATER FRUIT. Most of the time, our prayers are hindered or not answered, not because God doesnt answer prayer, but because we refuse to obey this command. When Christ Jesus was about to go to the cross, in His last moments He emphatically stated to His disciples and those of us that may come to know Him. He said, Greater love has no one than this, that someone (ie. Jesus Christ) lay down his life for his friends. YOU ARE MY FRIENDS (IF) YOU DO WHAT I COMMAND YOU. No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you FRIENDS, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and BEAR FRUIT and that your FRUIT should abide, SO THAT WHATEVER YOU ASK THE FATHER IN MY NAME, HE MAY GIVE IT TO YOU. (John 15 v 13 - 16 ESV) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self- control; against such things there is no law. And those who belong to Christ Jesus (Through complete obedience to His command) have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk with the Spirit. (Galatians 5 v 22 - 25) Till then, keep having an expectation of a positive outcome. Jesus knows and truly cares. Shalom!
