Sharing the planet with animals, we are strongly believe that they also have the right to live with dignity. For all these reasons, we urgently request a rapid intervention from your side to improve this situation, by bringing your citizens up to respect and take care of their animals, as it normally happens in other European countries, by keeping them in their home without isolating and tying them as if they were objects left at the mercy of the weather conditions. In addition to this, we urge that a massive and thorough cat sterilization program is started in order to reduce the number of stray cats. It would also be important to give life to an active and serious cooperation with vets for the necessary treatments, as well as with the local associations, propagandizing a “voluntary research” action. As European citizens we would be very pleased to visit Milos Island, appreciating your commitment towards the improvement of the living conditions of your animals: we really hope that the beauty of your island not only lies in its landscapes, but, especially, in the mighty hearth of its inhabitants. Sollecitiamo un Vostro rapido intervento per migliorare la situazione educando i cittadini a prendersi cura del proprio animale, come avviene ormai in molti paesi dEuropa, accogliendo il cane e non isolarlo e legarlo come fosse un oggetto in balìa delle codizioni climatiche. Gatti che chiedono aiuto.iamo inoltre di avviare un intenso programma di sterilizazione dei gatti che ridurrebbe così il numero dei randagi ed una seria collaborazione con veterinari per le cure necessarie e le associazioni in loco magari facendo propagande di reclutamento volontari.
