GROUP INPUT NEEDED: Anyone who has knowledge of divorce and custody laws please let me know if this is true and accurate. This was what was told to me after a judge said my minor child should be allowed to travel outside the country. This is what my lawyer currently tells me. I will never force you to enter into any judgment in which you don’t agree to. The Judge has issued recommendations and indicated that after hearing all of the proposed evidence and what you would testify to if you went to trial, she would rule a certain way. You always have the right to proceed with a trial. As main lawyer noted on the phone earlier today, the Judge specifically said without evidence or proof that your husband has told you he would not return minor child to you, she cannot within the law restrict travel to Mexico.
