GROUP INPUT NEEDED: I have a no contact RO in place till January 2015. My soon to be xN and I had court last Thursday. Since then, the flood of messages that have been sent to my family is outrageous. I have also been receiving messages from his family telling me how broken he is and how this time he really knows how much he hurt me and he wants to fix it! Yea right. Im not buying it. Anyway, my family member who is receiving the majority of the messages is going in for heart surgery tomorrow and I would really like the stress of my situation off of them. Im considering amending my RO tomorrow in court, asking that I be able to make ONE phone call to my exN....hear what he has to say and ask him to stop the messages to my family. My question...is this even a good idea? Will he think he has resumed control? Will it just make everything escalate? Also in his messages hes been saying hes sick and could be dying but yet wont disclose what from. Im so torn and need some guidance please. Thanks, Massachusetts.
