GROW WITH THE ANGELS ~ “Every blade of grass has its angel that bends over it and whispers, ‘Grow, grow.” ~ The Talmud When people ask me What are angels, how do I find them? perhaps my answer is a little disappointing. In my experience angels are intrinsically part of the very fabric of creation, they are as much aspects of our existence as oxygen, water, sunshine, or moonbeams. Angels are divine living energies that have the ability to hijack other living energies and to infuse their host with their light presence. Sometimes that vehicle can be something extremely ordinary, a flower, a bird, a human, a tree, a drop of water on a blade of grass, a sunbeam, a cloud, and when it is touched, it becomes inexplicably beautiful or stands out in some other way as special or other. I took this photograph of a cloud unwittingly on a morning when my garden had just appeared to me to be extraordinarily beautiful.It was actually not a very convenient moment,as I was busy trying to get out to work,however I paused in my scurrying to take some snaps of the garden in its glory. Later, when I checked the images, this was among them. The message came through loud and clear to me Never be too busy to appreciate the moment as it may come bearing angels. The pause taken, brought growth through my understanding. When I look at this image, I cannot simply see a cloud formation as my consciousness has attuned past the visual aspect into the energy aspect and therefore all I see is the angel. The eyes can be deceptive, it is the heart that has the true sight and we can trust that more and more as we grow. Within this most awesome tapestry of Creation, there are certain elements which have evolved to be known and are now named, such as the Archangels. I believe this is purely for our human comfort as we do like to know dont we? When an angel bends over you (or a blade of grass) and whispers grow, grow, grow it is encouraging you to reach your highest potential, as that is ultimately all that is required of any of us. For each of us, our highest potential can be different, it just means to find your purpose and to give yourself over to it with all your heart and to the best of your ability. My angels are always whispering. Sometimes I understand and sometimes I dont. Undaunted, they continue to whisper until I do, and that, is when growth happens. x
