** GROWLKIDS UPDATE! ** Many of you remember the raid in South Carolina where approximately 20 pit bulls were seized from a fighting ring. There was a mom and pups that was seized as well. "Candice" and her babies went immediately into foster via the shelter in Camden, South Carolina. Their wonderful foster mom cared for the family until they were ready to be placed for adoption. GROWL placed five of the six puppies in forever homes in New Jersey via GROWL transport. This seems like a very happy ending to a great story right? Well, what I was not told and discovered tonight was that it seems that the investigation at the property was ending and everyone was wrapping up one of the investigators heard a noise and went to search and found Candice and her pups in a box nailed shut! Yes, these poor babies and their mother would be dead even before they had a chance to live! So once again, we find out that even though those babies were special for breaking free of the fighting, they are clear miracles! So to every adopter that adopted Joey, Rosie, Puddin, Opie, Bubba, and Georgie hug your babies extra special tonight because they are little miracles with four paws!
