GUBER 2015: FUTURE VISION CANVASSES SUPPORT FOR OKOWA IKA WEEKLY A Socio-Political pressure group in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, Future Vision, has called on PDP delegates in Delta State and the electorates to support the candidacy of Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for the governorship race in Delta State. The group made the call in an enlarged meeting held on Tuesday last week to strategize on how to deliever Okowa in the election. Speaking at the well attended meeting, the founder of the pressure group, Hon. Hilary Fada Ibude while commending the members for their commitment to the course of Future vision, stated that, time has come for all and sundry in the state to focus more on how to sustain history in the state by a way of ensuring that the PDP governorship candidate elect, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa who is a proud son of Ika land, in Delta North and beyond emerge victorious on the day of the election. He appealed to his members and every other organizations to embark on door to door campaign for Okowa, reinstating that Okowa has the track record and capability to drive the state to the next level. He said Okowa emergence as the party consensus candidate for the election, is a rare development that the good people of Ika nation and Delta North in general should maximally utilized. While expressing support for the candidacy of Okowa, the immediate past Ika South PDP chairman, and the party candidate to represent Ika South in the 2015 Delta State House of Assembly election, Hon. Isaac Dada Ulebor, paid in a consultative visit to the group, soliciting for their support and promised not to disappoint them if supported to victory.
