GUD MORNING ONCE AGAIN MY NAME IS MAN UTD BABA,David Moyes brings two new faces into Old Trafford as reshuffle continues David Moyes has brought in Everton’s former chief scout Robbie Cooke and Chelsea’s European scout Mick Doherty, who worked with Moyes at Everton, in another reshuffle of the back room staff according to The Express. Earlier this week it was widely reported that Moyes had brought in the Premier League’s Head of Development John Murtaugh, a man who he had worked with twice at Everton, so this double appointment would mark the end of a busy week in terms of staff movement. There is no doubt that United underperformed in the last transfer window due to a combination of reasons including Ed Woodward’s inexperience in the transfer market and Moyes’ late arrival at the club, but this move from Moyes would indicate that he wasn’t entirely happy with the team he had behind him. It was always e difficult to replace a regime that had been in place at Old Trafford three decades and it has proved so far. However, this move from Moyes should give him the complete foundation on which he can be trusted decisions from those he has worked with in the past which is something that should translate into a better performance in future transfer windows.
