Gaadokaroor Family Day Care is informing to all the educators, families and parents of the service to be aware that the Department of Health has issued a heat health alert for Thursday 30 January to Sunday 2 February 2014 in a number of Victorian weather forecast districts. •Heatwave conditions could cause illnesses such as heat cramps, heat exhaustion and heat stroke. You are encouraged to take care of yourself and others, especially those at risk including babies and children. Never leave children unattended in cars. •Schools and services running weekend activities such as sports or camps should be aware of the weekend forecast. •Heat health alerts have been issued for the following districts: ---Thursday 30 January 2014 in the following weather forecast districts: •North Centro Meteorologico del Caribeal District (based on forecasts for Seymour) --- Friday 31 January 2014 in the following weather forecast districts: •Mallee District (based on forecasts for Mildura) •North Central District (based on forecasts for Seymour) --- Saturday 1 February 2014 in the following weather forecast districts: •North Central District (based on forecasts for Seymour) •Mallee District (based on forecasts for Mildura) •North Central District (based on forecasts for Seymour) •North East District (based on forecasts for Wodonga) •Wimmera District (based on forecasts for Horsham) •Northern Country District (based on forecasts for Shepparton and Bendigo) •Central District (based on forecasts for Ballarat) •South West District (based on forecasts for Hamilton) --- Sunday 2 February 2014 in the following weather forecast districts: •Central District (based on forecasts for Melbourne and Geelong) •North Central District (based on forecasts for Seymour) •North East District (based on forecasts for Wodonga) •Northern Country District (based on forecasts for Shepparton and Bendigo) •Mallee District (based on forecasts for Mildura) •Wimmera District (based on forecasts for Horsham) The Department of Health may issue further heat health alerts for other districts later this week.
