Galadima Blasts Malawi’s Coach -Backs Keshi To Lead Eagles To Brazil By Tayo Phllips Former NFA Chairman, Ibrahim Galadima has doused the enraging Racism furore claims of the Malawi national team coach on the personality of the Super Eagles gaffer, Stephen Keshi as mere diversionary tactics which will not affect the chances of beating them in Calabar to secure the Brazil 2014 W/Cup qualification ticket. Speaking with SportsDay, the Kano-born respected football administrator remarked that the tenure of the former Super Eagles captain, Stephen Keshi as the coach has brought splendid fortunes on the team performances going by the winning of the last African Nations Cup in South Africa which put them in good stead to claim a spot for the world football Mundial. “The recent racism claims won’t be a barrier as it is just been used to create tension. Super Eagles under Stephen Keshi has been splendid in all areas of management. Keshi can take Nigeria football to the El-dorado with the support of the Nigeria football federation. We are going to win in Calabar convincingly” Talking further, Alhaji Galadima maintained that for our football to be reinvigorate, Keshi and his employer, NFF must create a solid working relationship based on mutual respect charging Stephen Keshi not to be confrontational in his relationship approach on some issues with the Glasshouse “Occasionally, Keshi and I have been in contact where I have stressed the importance of him having respect for his employer-NFF. The reason being is that by this he will enjoy the tremendous cooperation and support to manage the Super Eagles very well. Constant bickering in the house will not bring about productive results rather distrust. In that regard, I think Keshi is keeping up to the challenges by avoiding seemingly confrontation. As it is now, Nigeria is on the verge of Brazil World Cup qualification holding in 2014.” Nigeria plays their last group F match against Malawi in Calabar on September 7.
