Gallivant - to go about in the search of pleasure...... I get on my youngest, the 17 yo, for not arriving home last night at a respectable time. He arrived to find me still awake, waiting on him, I told him the rest of us do not get to sleep in until noon. Today, I ask him if he understood why I was so upset, he said NO....I proceed to state, It is my responsibility to be certain you are in at a decent hour and I do not want you GALLIVANTING around the county until all hours of the night He laughed, looked up the meaning of GALLIVANT on the phone, laughed again, and said OK....
