Gamble (the white princess in the photo) is still up for adoption. Shes been in care for over 6 months now and sure is looking to find her very own adoptive family. Rescue Story: When I was rescued I was living as a stray dog. Personality: Hi, my name is Gamble! I am a lovely girl who had a bit of a rough start in the world. I will need another dog around for me to be happy as I am not a one dog pack kind of girl. I also very much love my humans and will need to sleep in my new pawrents room with them so I dont get lonely in the night. I would do best in an active home as I can get into a bit of mischeif if not exercised regularly. I would make a great running companion! Energy: High Children: Good (best in a home with older children) Dogs: Good (needs time to warm up to them) Cats: Unknown Health Notes: In March 2014, Gamble was diagnosed with Giardia and treated successfully. However, because her Giardia was undiagnosed for so long prior to being in harts care, it is possible that she could suffer from irritable bowel type symptoms for the rest of her life. Gamble was put on a hypoallergenic food with limited types of treats and all digestive issues have resolved. Gamble should remain on a restricted food and treat regime. Gamble is up to date on her vaccinations, is spayed and microchipped. Behaviour Notes: Gamble was living among a pack of dogs when she came into harts care and was under-socialized with people when she first came in. Initially shy and scared, her foster home has worked hard at building her confidence. She is a sweet, good natured dog and would do really well in a home with another confident dog. She will need someone who is willing to go slow with her and build trust, as living with people in a home environment is still fairly new to her.
