Game over. 49ers take it 16-10. Frankly, it shouldve been a lot more than that. - Five picks? Are you kidding me? I dont care how bad the offensive line was, Eli made flat out dumb throws today and it killed the Giants. This loss is on him far more than anyone else. Hes lucky the defense stepped up and kept it that close. After 6 picks through the first 9 games, Eli blows it in spectacular fashion. - 21 carries for 65 yards as the rushing attack completely fails to move the ball once again. A lot of this is the offensive lines fault, Charles Brown and John Jerry absolutely need to go. - The receivers actually had pretty solid days despite Eli Mannings horrendous performance. Randle had 7 catches for 112 yards, Donnell had 3 catches for 54 yards and a TD, and Beckham caught 6 for 93 yards. They all also made some great catches. - No one on the field played better than the Giants defense. the 49ers were constantly getting set up with great opportunities (cough cough Eli) but the Giants held them as best they could, led by great days by McClain, Herzlich and Kennard at LB. - Bowman and Herzlich had great fumble recoveries to set up the Giants, but this game shows you how important winning the turnover battle is. The Giants forced two but how do you keep up when the other team gets five picks? The defense delivered as best it could by somehow keeping it close the entire game and the offense just gave the game away. Thoughts? -Geoffrey
