::: Garden State Radio November 2014 Update ::: Its the end of an era...and the beginning of a new one. We are proud that Garden State Radio has become one of the areas ultimate audio visual concert experience, and we love touring up and down the east coast delivering that show to thousands of different fans each week. We took a hard look at our upcoming winter schedule and felt it time to make some changes. Our industry has been met with a new generation of fans and it seems that an off season, weekly residency is tough for any venue to have success with in this economy. The key word for this new generation of nightclub patrons is diversity. With all the out of state opportunities we are being offered, the band and Bar A feel it is best to feature a monthly rotation of bands while still keeping GSR as the anchor band of the series. We recently met with the owners to discuss a strategy on how to rebrand and redefine this iconic night for a new 2015 audience. Judging by what weve seen and heard from our fans this year (yes, we listened!), we feel they got it right. The new Tuesday plan will be great. Starting in December, Bar A will be doing a rotation with different area bands each week, but the first headlining Tuesday of every month belongs solely to Garden State Radio. Were gonna mix things up big-time with an earlier start time (9:30 sharp) and an alternating roster of DJs to spin on breaks and close the night out. Make sure to check bar-a for lineups and info. But remember the 1st Tuesday of every month will be Garden State Radio. That sums up Tuesdays...On to the other six days of the week! Weve got quite the season ahead of us. On Thanksgiving Eve at Jenkinsons, we launch the biggest production show the area has ever seen. Just in time for the most impressive schedule weve ever had. On Thursday, December 11th, GSR has been selected to perform at 94.3 The Points annual mega concert, The Poinsettia Bash at the Headliner in Neptune. A large part of our 2015 schedule is sold out in the best rooms in six states, and were excited to be adding two new venues in NY and one in MD to our already stellar rotation this year. Were rocking New Years Eve at Seacrets in Ocean City, Md, and will be celebrating Thanksgiving Eve locally at Jenkinsons in Point Pleasant, NJ. Were also headed back to the Molten Lounge at The Sands Casino in Allentown PA on Thursday, December 4th. Once theres some white stuff on the ground, we driving north to the Wobbly Barn in Killington, VT. for three full weekend shows, and we’re headed even further north this July to perform in Montreal Canada for a huge lawyers convention. Shame we cant get flyer miles for driving! Plus many more exciting things well announce shortly. Stay Tuned !!! As always, check the website for our full concert calendar. GardenStateRadioBand Thanks to our fans and the amazing clubs we play for making 2014 an amazing and memorable year, 2015 is looking like it may be even better, thanks everyone. Kelly, Ryan, Bobby and Nick GSR
