Garioch Vets 12-1-15 Garioch Vets started the second half of the season on 12th January against Macduff. Never an easy game against away at Macduff and with Richard Wiseman now playing for them in the vets it wasnt going to be an easy match. Jim Masson was playing at No 3, and in true Jim style he won 3-0 in a tight match against Alistair Mackie, another great win for Jim and a great start. Allan Ramsay (Captain) was play at No 2 and he was playing against Richard Wiseman. The first two games were very close with Richard winning the first 15-10, and Allan bringing it level 1-1 after the second winning 8-15. Richard stepped up a gear winning the third 15-2 and the last game in a close 15-12 battle. Unlucky Allan, and a great effort, 3-2 Richard. With the match now tied at 1-1, it was up to Steve to take the honours and he was up against Billy Gregor. This was a close battle but it was Billy who won, 3-0, 15-12, 15-11 and 15-9. Not a great start for the beginning of the season but with Macduff having a more strengthened team, this was a respectable result. Final points 9 -4 to Macduff. Great effort from all and another great win for Jim.
