Garlic oil for ear infections is the way to go! All three of the girls we sick, chelsi was getting an ear infection and renn had a really nasty one that antibiotics werent doing a thing for. Elora was sick to from congestion and junk. Renn had quit eating and was hardly drinking anything. I quit the antibiotics bc they seemed to be making renn worse and made some garlic oil and started putting it in their ears about 5pm yesterday. With out the help of any medicine what so ever fevers went away and now less than 24 hrs later, Renns ears are not red or swollen any more, they are all up playing, and Renns just started eating and drinking again! Im totally sold yall! Ill prob never take these kids in for an ear infection again! I even felt myself trying to get sick and could feel my ears starting to swell and ache so I used it iny ears, I felt instant relief! Heres what I did if you care to know: Approx. 1 clove of fresh garlic to 1 tablespoon coconut oil Minced the garlic and let it set out while I heated up the coconut oil. Heat up oil to where it is just warm to the touch and add garlic. Let mixture set, overnight is best, but if you need it in a pinch you can wait as little as 2/3 hours Strain mixture through a coffee filter so there is no debris that might get into the ear. Then we used a small syringe (dropper would have worked better) to get the oil inside the ear, let set and drain, repeat as needed, we did every couple hours. Hope this helps during this nasty sick season!
