Gary and I just watched Lone Survivor. I have very mixed emotions. First of all I feel such pride, respect and gratitude for our Military and the sacrifices that they and their families make not only for America, but for the world. Secondly, I feel angry and ashamed of our Government for ever sending our soldiers into harms way without fully funding the military and its operation. No Government should ever consider cuts to the defense fund or to any soldier, active, retired, or wounded warrior. Furthermore, our Government should fully support the families of our fallen soldiers who gave all. We should be ashamed that our politicians on both sides of the isle and at the highest level of Government think themselves more important than our brave soldiers. Thirdly, I am encouraged by the selflessness of the Afghan Village that risked the safety of their village to protect our soldier, Sgt Luttrell, knowing that the Taliban would surely attack and kill many of them. What an honorable people they were. Our soldiers were very honorable also, by not wanting to kill civilians knowing it May also cost them their lives. Please join me in continuing to pray for our soldiers and our Country. Lastly, Thank You to every American Soldier. Most of us will never know what it is like to walk in your shoes.🇺🇸.
