Garys grandfather finally ended up in the nursing home. Sold his - TopicsExpress

Garys grandfather finally ended up in the nursing home. Sold his house. Gave some of his things away. We got two more midi-rototillers and an old (cool-looking) chest. Gary took home this sewing machine, because no one else here knows how to. This was quite similar to our old Singer sewing machine that my Nanay used to have, which I used when I was in college making quilted wallets (my hobby at the time, and I had classmates who bought my quilted wallets!). I also made quilted bags (those were so IN at the time that I was in college). Nanay had her old Singer attached to a motor. This one is more modern because it came with a motor already, and had several settings for various stitches. However, I am not familiar with the kind of discs it had for the various stitches. The only other sewing machines I had used before were Janome when I was in college, and Brother when I came here (given by my friend Anna Underwood). Then I bought a Singer here which was junk. Never bought another after that. Maybe I will get back to sewing. I already tried this one and it works. But I gotta re-learn how to use the sewing machine. :P
