Gas prices up and everything else goes up. A slow but gradual increase for one of the busiest travel parts of the year. Someone has to figure this out by now. So you buy a more efficient car and the price of gas goes up so you really didnt save. Its like buying all efficient light bulbs, an LED TV, and your monthly bill is still the same some years later. What is the oil industry going to do when electric cars finally dip into their profits? Are they going to squash the idea by doing research that says the batteries are like ticking time bombs and you will never know when they go off? They had very efficient cars back in the 80s... electric. Those people probably got hush money to stay quiet. One incident in the Middle East and Gas spikes.
